Camp S.A.L.T., a Dare County Sheriff's Office Summer Camp

S.A.L.T. (Save a Life Together)

The Dare County Sheriff's Office will be holding the Sheriff's 2014 summer camp for children ages 8 to 15, beginning June 16th and ending August 21st. This is a faith-based camp with activities that may include fishing, climbing the Alpine Tower and rock wall, kayaking, and going to the beach. Each child will have opportunities to make new friends, to learn ways to deal with challenges, and to create proud memories. Camp will be held Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am. until 4:00 pm. and Friday from 8:30 am. until 12:00 pm. at the Sheriff's Office Alpine Tower site (behind the First Flight High School football field). The Sheriff's Office will also offer transportation from Manteo to the Alpine Tower for those who need it. The camp will be limited to 30 participants max.
