Camp S.A.L.T., a Dare County Sheriff's Office Summer Camp

S.A.L.T. (Save a Life Together)

The Dare County Sheriff's Office will be holding the Sheriff's 2016 summer camp for children ages 8 to 14. 

There will be three camp sessions this year on the following dates:

June 13 to July 01 for Ages 8-14

July 11 to July 29 for Ages 8-11

August 01 to August 19 for Ages 12-14

You may sign up for one of these three week camps.

This is a faith-based camp with activities that may include fishing, climbing the Alpine Tower and rock wall,educational field trips and going to the sound. Each child will have opportunities to make new friends, to learn ways to deal with challenges, and to create proud memories. Camp will be held Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am. until 4:00 pm. and Friday from 8:30 am. until 12:00 pm. at the Sheriff's Office Alpine Tower site (behind the First Flight High School football field). The Sheriff's Office will also offer transportation from Manteo to the Alpine Tower for those who need it. Each camp will be limited to 30 participants.
